Give the gift of letter writing with The Letter League Gift Subscription. This one-time purchase inducts a new Correspondent into The Letter League for three months. It is the ideal way to introduce a friend to the art of the intentional message.
How It Works

- INDUCT/GIFT: Purchase the gift subscription and receive a digital Certificate of Commission to present to your recipient immediately. Your recipient is officially entered into the Registry!
- RECEIVE: For the next three months, they will receive a curated parcel at the beginning of the month.
- WRITE: They follow the provided Writing Compass prompts to identify who in their life needs their words.
- SEND: They seal, stamp, and deliver their gift of time.
Inside Each Gift Parcel

- Welcome Letter & Membership Card: A welcome letter explaining each item and Letter League membership card (first parcel only).
- Card & Envelope: One premium Opal Letter Co. card and coordinating envelope.
- Writing Compass: A guided reflection featuring a unique recipient and four writing prompts to guide their message.
- Surprise Curio: A small paper artifact, such as a mini art print, bookmark, or field note, to keep for their own collection or share with a friend.
Logistics for the Giver

- ONE-TIME PURCHASE: No recurring fees. Their membership concludes automatically after three months.
- TRACKED PASSAGE: As the gift giver, you will receive all USPS tracking coordinates via email to ensure each dispatch arrives safely, while your recipient enjoys the surprise in their postbox.
- LEGACY OPTION: In their third and final dispatch, your recipient will receive a Legacy Invitation. They can easily continue in the League independently if they found joy in their membership.

FAQ
How do I notify my recipient?
Upon purchase, you will receive a digital Certificate of Commission in your inbox. You can print this to present in person or forward it via email. This is their gift notice until their first parcel arrives.
When will their first parcel arrive?
If the gift subscription is purchased by the 25th of the current month, their first parcel will arrive by the first week of the following month. (For example, a gift purchased on March 20th will arrive in early April). Otherwise, it will arrive the month after next.
How do I know which Home Post they belong to?
Leave the geography to us! Based on the shipping address you provide, we will ensure your recipient is assigned to the correct Home Post.
Will I be charged again after three months?
No. The gift subscription is a one-time, pre-paid commission. After three months, their membership automatically concludes and you will not be charged again.
Your recipient may choose to continue their subscription independently with the Legacy Invitation included in their final box.
Are there any shipping fees?
Shipping is free for every Letter League parcel. Whether you are joining with a personal subscription or commissioning a three-month gift, the shipping cost is already included in the price.
Can I track the progress of my gift?
To keep the surprise intact for the recipient, all tracking coordinates and delivery confirmations will be sent to your email address (the gift giver). You will know the moment their parcel arrives.
